The Alliance for Youth Action powers a movement of young people building political power to create an equitable and just democracy.
We strengthen youth organizing infrastructure through three strategies: Capacity Builder, supporting the political programs and operational strength of our Network; Ecosystem Leader, seeding new organizations to expand the youth civic engagement field; and Funding Intermediary, resourcing youth-led groups nationwide. Together, these strategies empower young leaders to build lasting political power.
The Alliance Network
The Alliance for Youth Action is a federated Network of 16 Affiliates across 15 states. Each organization has its unique identity and approach to creating change, but we unite as a federation to amplify our collective impact. Alongside our Affiliate Network, we also grow new youth-led organizations through the Youth Civic Accelerator, launching four chapters across three additional states to seed and support emerging groups where youth power is most needed. By organizing locally and coordinating nationally, we’re building a movement capable of transforming our democracy.

Issue Agenda
While each Affiliate prioritizes different issues in response to their local context, our Network unites around five common issue areas: abortion access and reproductive justice, climate and environmental justice, housing rights, reimagining public safety, and voting rights.
When Young
People Lead
Our Network turns out young voters, elects progressive leaders, passes bold policies, and redefines who gets to shape our future. From city halls to statehouses, young organizers are driving real change in their communities.
